Summer Camp 2024

Registration will begin April 17th

Camp runs

July 8th-August 23rd

For 30 years, BTWLC has offered after school care to children from K-8th grades. Currently, we are supporting children who have engaged in remote learning due to the threat of COVID - 19. Historically, we have offered homework help, tutoring, art, music, games and drama. We have taught through project based learning using a thematic framework.

During summer months, we find the most fun and innovative ways to keep children learning, exercising, developing, and being introduced to each borough of New York City. Children are also discovering the joys of cooking, dance, drama and art. They enjoy recreation and chances to perform in front of an audience. Many of our staff members have been campers themselves. The kids just keep coming back year after year.

The BTW Preschool educates children 2 to 5 years old. It offers Activities that promote sensory, fine and gross motor skills, art, cooking, music & movement.

We have a toddler program and we also offer a 3-K and 4-K program that is a completely free school day program.  An extended day enrichment program is also available to families.

Our school has a strong focus on Literacy, play, gardening, art, cooking, music and movement. Visit our preschool site by pressing link.

A space created for teens to find support as they prepare for school, work and life.  These young people work, attend school and are focused on breaking cycles of poverty, overcoming challenges and preparing for great success. We are committed to our students and their caregivers.

These teens meet to find helpful resources,  counseling, guidance and opportunities that ill allow them to change their lives and thrive.   Tutoring, guidance, mentoring, workshops, trips, and scholarships are just some of the program components.

"It's more than a feeling, it's a warm and welcoming setting where everyone is family.  You can call it your second home.

Everyone who enters this place is part of a community where expectations are high, help is abundant, resources are available, and support is always felt. Teachers and staff are dedicated to each student according to their ability and interest.  Everyone matters here.  This is a place where young people thrive."
